CONTEST RULES
ELIGIBILITY
Open to legal U.S. residents of the WHAG viewing area, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by applicable federal, state or local laws or regulations. Winners will be notified by e-mail or telephone. If any prize notification or e-mail is undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any other requirements, the prizes will be forfeited. Employees of Nexstar Broadcasting, WHAG-TV, the National Broadcasting Company, Inc., KOA Campground, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors working on their products, projects or promotions, advertising and promotion agencies and members of their immediate families (parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and household members are not eligible.
HOW TO ENTER:
Logon to Your4State.com and click on “Halloween” on the main navigation bar. Fill out the entry form (if you are not a registered user you must register first). Limit one entry per contestant/contest. Entries may also be submitted to My Little Monster, 13 East Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
WINNER:
Users are asked to go online and vote for their favorite “Little Monster” The entry with the most votes wins. Winners will be notified by email or phone. If a winner is unreachable after seven (7) days, or if that winner is unavailable for prize fulfillment, an alternate winner will be selected. If your4state.com cannot find an eligible winner for the prize, that prize will not be awarded.
VOTING:
Click on the gallery to view the entries and place your vote. Users may vote once per day. Voting begins as soon as an approved entry is posted.
PRIZES:
Grand prize pack includes: $50 Gift Certificate to Extra Innings in Hagerstown, $50 Gift Certificate to Family Recreation Park in Boonsboro, $50 Gift Certificate to Yogi Bear Jellystone in Williamsport and $50 Gift Certificate to Brother's Pizza in Hagerstown/State Line.
DATES OF CONTEST:
October 1, 2012 through October 30, 2012. Entries accepted through October 26, 2012. Voting continues through October 30, 2012.

Winners assume all liability for any injury or damages caused or claimed to be caused by his or her participation in the Contest and/or the acceptance and/or use of any prize, and release WHAG, Sponsors, Promotions.com, their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies and each of their respective officers, directors, and employees (the "released parties") from any such liability. The released parties assume no responsibility for any injury or damage to participants' or to any other persons' computer, relating to or resulting from entering or downloading materials or software in connection with this game. The released parties are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications caused by the user or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this Contest. This contest is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes on the prize and any other expenses not specified above are the sole responsibility of the winner. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to Sponsors' and their designee's use of winners' names and likenesses for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
INTERNET
If for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, and unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of WHAG, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity of the Contest, WHAG reserves the right in its discretion to disqualify any individual it believes has tampered with the entry process, and/or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest.
WHAG assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alternation of, entries. WHAG is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail to be received by WHAG because of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to the participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BY MADE, WHAG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY OFFENDER TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
In the event of a dispute, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line served provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsors may require proof of account holder status. The use of automated entry devices is prohibited.
ADDITIONAL RULES
Prizes are sponsored by Your4State.com, WHAG, and KOA Campground. Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of WHAG, whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion. Sponsors reserve the right to permanently disqualify from any promotion it sponsors, any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules.
Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner and winners may receive an IRS Form 1099 or equivalent from Station.
By participating in the Contest, the winner or winners (or, in the case of a minor, their parent/legal guardian) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this Contest, and to sign a publicity release, affidavit of eligibility and release of liability prior to acceptance of the prize. If a prize winner is a minor, prize may be awarded to the minor’s parent or legal guardian. By accepting the prize, each winner grants to Sponsors the right to use the winner’s name, voice, picture and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and publicity in any and all media now known or hereafter invented, without further permission or additional compensation (except where prohibited by law). All expenses on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of winner. Winner by acceptance of the prize, agrees to release WHAG, Group, Nexstar Broadcasting, Sponsors and their advertising, promotion and production agencies and their respective parents and subsidiaries, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in directly or indirectly in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to any Contest or prize-related activity.
Sponsors reserve the right to make changes in the rules of the contest which will become effective upon announcement. Sponsors are not responsible for errors in the rules, their announcements, or the offering or the administration of the Contest.
No prize transfers. Sponsors may substitute prizes for prizes of like value, in the Sponsors’ sole discretion. Prizes may not be substituted or redeemed for cash. Offer subject to federal, state and local regulations and laws and is void where taxed, restricted or prohibited. By entering, participants agree to these rules and the decisions of the Sponsors/judges.
