CONTEST RULES
ELIGIBILITY:
Open to legal U.S. residents of the WHAG viewing area, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by applicable federal, state or local laws or regulations. Entrants must have access to internet to enter and win. Employees of Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc., WHAG-TV, the National Broadcasting Company, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors working on their products, projects or promotions, advertising and promotion agencies and members of their immediate families (parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and household members are not eligible to enter, play, or win any prizes. No purchase necessary.
HOW TO ENTER:
Starting on June 13th and ending on June 22nd, log on to http://www.your4state.com and click on the Your4State Cook-Off on WHAG link. Register for the contest, and then submit a picture of your summer dessert along with the detailed recipe. Then from June 23rd- June 29th log on to http://www.your4state.com and click the link on the homepage again to vote for your favourite recipe. You may vote once per hour. You must be registered to enter and vote. *You must be available to submit your recipe July 3rd at Noon at the WHAG Studio in order to be in the top 3 recipes.
WINNER:
The top three recipes with the most eligible votes on June 30th will be invited to WHAG (13 East Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740) on July 3rd to present their finished desert live on WHAG news at Noon. You must be available to submit your recipe July 3rd at Noon at the WHAG Studio in order to be in the top 3 recipes. 3 judges from WHAG will taste all three recipes live on WHAG news at Noon and will then decide the winner, and two runners up. Winner will be announced during WHAG news at Noon on July 3rd.
PRIZES:
The grand prize winner resulting from the taste test live on WHAG News at Noon will be awarded a Miranda Lambert autographed Gibson Les-Paul Melody Maker Guitar provided by EMG, worth approx $620 and an Allegany College of Maryland Prize Pack valued at approx $100. Two runners up will receive NBC summer prize packs. Winner(s) will be required to pay all federal/state/and local taxes on prize and must fill out a W-9 form in order to accept prize.

If for any reason, the Internet Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, and unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of WHAG, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity of the Contest, WHAG reserves the right in its discretion to disqualify any individual it believes has tampered with the entry process, and/or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. WHAG assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alternation of, entries. WHAG is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail to be received by WHAG because of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to the participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BY MADE, WHAG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY OFFENDER TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. In the event of a dispute, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line served provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsors may require proof of account holder status. The use of automated entry devices is prohibited.

Prizes are sponsored by WHAG AND EMG. Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of WHAG, whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion OR CONTEST. Sponsors reserve the right to permanently disqualify from any promotion it sponsors, any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules.
