MOTHER – DAUGHTER LOOK-A-LIKE CONTEST
CONTEST RULES

HOW TO ENTER:
Using your computer with internet, log on to http://www.your4state.com. Click on the Mother Daughter Look-a-like contest on the homepage or under “fun”. Once you have loaded the contest page, click “Enter Now”. From April 21^st- April 30^th 2014 you can submit/upload a photo of you and your mother or daughter. You and your mother or daughter must be in the same picture/image. No duplicates will be accepted. You must register to submit. Only one submission per person. No changes may be made after submission. Both entrants must be human beings.

VOTING:
The voting period will begin on May 1^st and end on May 7^th, 2014. Log on to the contest page then click “All Entries” to see the submissions, then vote for your favorite. You may vote once per hour. You must register to vote.

WINNER:
One grand prize winner will be awarded based on the most eligible votes at the end of the contest. Winner will be announced on May 9^th, 2014.

PRIZES:
One grand prize winner will win TWO Cannon Digital Cameras provided by WHAG and a $200 Car Detailing package from Hagerstown Honda! Prize must be claimed within two weeks of winner notification via e-mail. If prizes go unclaimed within this time period, winner forfeits the prize. Prize must be picked up at WHAG, 13 East Washington Street, Hagerstown MD between the hours of 8:30am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.

DATES OF CONTESTS:
You can submit Mother/Daughter look-a-like photos from April 21^st to April 30^th,.
Voting period is from May 1^st – May 7^th.

ELIGIBILITY:
Open to legal U.S. residents of the WHAG viewing area, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by applicable federal, state or local laws or regulations. Entrants must have access to the internet via computer or smartphone equipped with the Your4State App to enter and/or win.  If any prize notification or e-mail is undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any other requirements, the prizes will be forfeited and awarded to the next eligible entrant.  Employees of Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc., WHAG-TV, the National Broadcasting Company, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, contractors working on their products, projects or promotions, advertising and promotion agencies and members of their immediate families (parents, children and siblings and their spouses) and household members are not eligible to enter, play, or win any prizes. No purchase necessary.

This contest is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes on the prize and any other expenses not specified above are the sole responsibility of the winner. If prize value exceeds $500 winner will be required to fill out an IRS form 1099 or equivalent at WHAG. Entry constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to WHAG and their designee's use of winners' names, hometown and likenesses, pictures, videos, images, voice, etc, for purposes of advertising, promotion, and publicity purposes without additional compensation.

If for any reason, the Internet Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, and unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of WHAG, which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity of the Contest, WHAG reserves the right in its discretion to disqualify any individual it believes has tampered with the entry process, and/or cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest. WHAG assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alternation of, entries. WHAG is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail to be received by WHAG because of technical problems, human error or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to the participant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this contest.

CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BY MADE, WHAG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY OFFENDER TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.  In the event of a dispute, entries will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line served provider or other organization (e.g. business, educational, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sponsors may require proof of account holder status. The use of automated entry devices is prohibited. 

All results posted are unofficial until winners respond to e-mail notification.

Entrants further grant to us the right to use and publish their photo entry, proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest.

We reserve the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law.

The Contest and all of the related pages, contents and code are copyright, UPICKEM, and us. Copying or unauthorized use of any copyrighted materials, trademarks or any other intellectual property without the express written consent of its owner is strictly prohibited.

ADDITIONAL RULES:
WHAG RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CHANGE ANY AND ALL RULES AT ANYTIME. New rules will become effective upon announcement. No prize transfers.  Sponsors, WHAG, and Nexstar Broadcasting are not responsible for errors in the rules, their announcements, or the offering of the administration of the Contest. Sponsors may substitute prizes of like value at their sole discretion. Prizes may not be substituted for redeemed for cash.

Prizes are sponsored by WHAG and prize sponsors.  Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of WHAG, whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from this promotion. Sponsors reserve the right to permanently disqualify from any promotion it sponsors, any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules.
